Spend the Day at BoatHouse Memorial Day Weekend!

The Spring season was here and gone and we can’t believe that it is almost Memorial Day Weekend! While Memorial Day weekend is technically still in Spring, at the Lake of the Ozarks we like to say that Memorial Day weekend is the kickoff to Summer at the Lake! Here at BoatHouse Lakeside Bar and Grill, we are officially open seven days a week and we are very excited for another great season at the best waterfront bar and grill at the Lake of the Ozarks. If you are coming to the Lake for Memorial Day weekend, you are probably making your plans on what to do while you are here. We have a suggestion for you, spend the day with us at BoatHouse Lakeside Bar and Grill! Not sure what you would do all day while you are here? Here are few suggestions:



Take a Swim in Our Heated Pool

If you have kids, they are going to love our pool! You can watch your kids have a great time in the pool all afternoon while you sit back in our poolside chairs and soak up some sun! Have a cocktail while you are relaxing and it's a win-win for everyone. When the sun gets warm you can cool off in the pool too!



Don't have kids? No problem! The pool is still a great place to hang out. We have the best swim up bar at the Lake of the Ozarks. Relax in the water and enjoy your favorite beverage. Don't forget to try the best rum runners at the Lake. When you hang out at the swim up bar you won't even have to leave the comfort of the pool to grab a drink.


Grab a Bite to Eat

We have a BRAND NEW menu this year at the best waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks. Here is a Sneak Peak of the delicious food we will be serving up this year: 

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers Jalapeno halves filled with seasoned cream cheese and wrapped with hickory smoked bacon. Then coated in a Cajun spice-brown-sugar glaze and baked to a sizzle
Chipotle Chicken Rangoon wontons stuffed with chicken, caramelized onions, chipotle & cream cheese. Served with a drizzle of cayenne-infused honey.
Blackened Shrimp Po’Boy Blackened Shrimp served on our hoagie, with lettuce, tomato, onion & Cajun remoulade.
Boathouse Burger Smashed thin beef patty and seasoned with our special blend of seasonings, your choice of cheese, then topped with lettuce blend, thinly sliced tomato, thin sliced red onion, and our garlic aioli.
Blackened Fish TacosI  6oz of Pollock, blackened & divided between three flour tortillas, then topped with pico, chipotle aioli, lime sour cream & our Asian slaw.

This is only a portion of our AMAZING menu this year but we think these sound scrumptious! From amazing appetizers, mouth-watering sandwiches, unique sliders, and more we know that there will be something for everyone on the menu! Rent a Boat or Jet Ski at Village Marina

While you are at BoatHouse for the day, why not head down to Village Marina and rent a boat or Jet Ski for a couple hours? Rent a pontoon at Village Marina Lake, Ozarks for the whole family to enjoy a boat ride for a couple of hours. If you have a large group and not everyone wants to take a boat out, why not rent a Jet Ski for a couple of hours! The ones who don't want to rent a Jet Ski or Boat can hang back at BoatHouse and enjoy some appetizers and drinks by the pool! After a couple of hours boating, we are sure that you will work up quite the appetite. When you get back, enjoy a delicious dinner at BoatHouse!

It's almost time for the 33rd Annual Harbor Hop! This year, Harbor Hop will take place on Saturday, October 13th. This annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is fun for everyone and it's a great excuse to get out on the water. While the Lake of the Ozarks is a booming vacation destination in the Midwest, with thousands upon thousands vacationers - it hasn't always been that way. The Lake of the Ozarks is only 75 years old, but the area has been around even longer.
