Thankfully, there are a few easy ways to decide if you'll like something without having to know a TON about alcohol. Keep these quick easy tips in mind when you come out to the best bar at the Lake of the Ozarks, and you'll find YOUR perfect cocktail every time *wink*.
Martini - generally made with gin and vermouth, topped with an olive, and should probably be stirred.
Old Fashioned - whiskey, mixed with bitters, and a little sugar on the rim with a slice of orange.
Negroni - Gin, vermouth, campari, and an orange peel.
Margherita - Triple sec, tequila, and lime or lemon juice, served with salt or sugar on the rim.
Moscow Mule - Ginger beer, vodka, and lime juice.
Long Island Iced Tea - Tequila, gin, vodka, rum, triple sec, topped with cola.
If you order a sweet drink, you'll probably get something that contains a type of syrup or fruit juice and doesn't contain the bitter liqueurs.
Strawberry Daquiri - white rum, syrup, lime juic, and strawberry puree.
