5 Reasons to Enjoy Memorial Day Weekend at The Boathouse

Memorial Day Weekend is almost here, and we have some awesome plans for the entire weekend. From the opening of the Tiki Bar to the great bands, The Boathouse is the place to be for the first big holiday weekend of the summer. If you haven't made your Memorial Day plans, it's never too late to start - here are a few reasons you should come relax at The Boathouse!


1. Our NEW Pool

Our BRAND NEW pool is ready to go, and we can't wait to enjoy a relaxing holiday weekend poolside with you. There is WAY more space in our brand new lakeside pool at the Lake of the Ozarks, as well as more places to spread out and soak up the sun.

2. Live Music

For Memorial Day Weekend, we have a GREAT line up for bands and musicians on our NEW BAND STAGE! We will have DJ Merf playing from 2 PM to 6 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Gary Lincoln will be playing on Friday night (May 26th) at 7 PM. Finally, we'll have Disco Dick & the Mirror Balls playing on Saturday (May 27th) and Sunday (May 28th) at 8 PM.

3. The Tiki Bar Will Be Open

Our Tiki Bar is the final aspect of our renovation to be completed, and we can't wait to provide amazing drinks and snacks for you while you're at the pool. We're going to have some amazing beers on tap, from Miller Lite to Sea Dog Blueberry Lager. The options are endless. Join us on Memorial day Weekend for the opening of our Tiki Bar! It's going to be amazing.

4. Our Delicious Menu

Have you tried any of the amazing selections from our brand new menu? From delicious starters to incredible entrees and even decadent desserts, our Lakefront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is ideal. We have a BRAND NEW menu for the 2017 summer season, and there are SO many new items to try.


5. Convenient Location

Finally, one of the best reasons to join us on Memorial Day Weekend is because of our convenient location. We are located at mile marker three at the Lake of the Ozarks, and when you're out for the day boating - it can be great to have an easy place to stop for a drink, a meal, or even just to swim in the pool.

It's almost time for the 33rd Annual Harbor Hop! This year, Harbor Hop will take place on Saturday, October 13th. This annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is fun for everyone and it's a great excuse to get out on the water. Fall is a gorgeous time of year here at the Lake and you won't want to miss out on a beautiful day! While the Lake of the Ozarks is a booming vacation destination in the Midwest, with thousands upon thousands vacationers - it hasn't always been that way. The Lake of the Ozarks is only 75 years old, but the area has been around even longer.
